“With family planning overseas trips for Christmas, we headed to our favourite Mollymook Waterfront, where we have stayed just about every year, varying months, since 2010. Hosts June and Ken seem like long known friends now, always very welcoming and always ensuring your every need is catered for. The units are well furnished and equipped, with a very comfortable bed and furniture. A generous breakfast hamper, and I am still keen to get back on the George Foreman Grill to rustle up the breakfast or dinner meals. We have stayed in both Reef Break and Whale Watch apartments, different layouts, but both with a spectacular view. My wife and I both spend at lot of time on the patio soaking up the atmosphere, watching the birds on the garden feeder, the surfers riding the waves or just listening to the magical sound of the sea. Just a short walk to the Bogey Hole for a snorkel, a little further to one of the beaches, or even closer is the golf club. Such a relaxing holiday and I am sure once visited, you will be hooked.” Gary J, January. 2026

“This accommodation is one of the best I have had the pleasure of experiencing. A beautifully presented, spotless and comfortable apartment with a delightful view of the ocean from the back deck. Away from traffic noise and a thoughtful welcome basket of wine and pre dinner snacks as well as enough to make a simple hot breakfast. Truly a welcome retreat after a long four hour drive in torrential rain in May. My host for the two days was Ken who kindly explained how to work all the entertainment/aircon electronics and offered up tips of where to eat and how to get to the little beach below the property. “We had an amazing week staying at this beautiful location. We’ll miss waking up to that stunning view every morning and walking 5 minutes down to Mollymook beach for a swim. Ken and June were generous and helpful hosts and they have considered every detail for a comfortable stay. There’s some incredible restaurants in the area that are a must do if you’re in Mollymook. “After twelve visits to this wonderful property, we just can’t help going back. The two apartments are slightly different but equally as good. Spacious, comfortable furnishings, especially the bed, the apartments are well equipped with exceptionally friendly hosts who go out of their way to make your stay one to remember. Mollymook Beach Waterfront was beautifully appointed with everything you need for your stay. A delightful welcome starter hamper with hot and cold breakfast options, snacks and wine was most appreciated. A fully stocked DVD library, smart TV with netflix and a comprehensive information folder with suggestions for eating out, takeaway and recommendations for how to spend your time. If you stay in your apartment and choose not to venture out, you are treated to the most serene and relaxing experience. “Mollymook Beach Waterfront boasts beautiful front row viewing of one of Australia’s sensational reef breaks – from dawn to dusk a magic mix of surfers and dolphins and pods of whales heading north. The ultra comfortable and spotless apartment is top value – is perfect for rest and relaxation and is a superb base for walking, golf, swimming at the famous bogey hole, little coves and the main beach. Their website gives a big hint of the love and pride Ken and June Banks have for their set up and the Mollymook region. “We have been enjoying the many benefits of Mollymook Beach Waterfront for a number of years now. Our most recent stay was no exception. Our arrival at Reef Break always feels like coming home as every aspect of our stay has been thoughtfully executed in the fully self-contained apartment. Apart from our own personal luggage, nothing else is required. For example, the sumptuous and complimentary welcome hamper ensures that we were well nourished for the first couple of days. Each modern apartment has their own entrance off the main foyer/office while our hosts, Ken & June, conveniently live up stairs and so can be called upon should we need any assistance during our stay. They were an invaluable resource for anything from outdoor activities to restaurant recommendations. The “Reef Break” apartment again excelled in attention to detail & unrivalled cleanliness. Although free Wi Fi, Foxtel & DVDs were available, we simply logged in to your own streaming accounts on the smart TV during this stay. However, it’s the priceless ocean view from our private patio that always commands our attention. A guest laundry also includes a dryer and complimentary washing detergent. We left our car (securely) parked for most of our stay as everything is within walking distance. This included the golden sands of Mollymook beach itself, Mollymook Beach Golf Club, Beach Hut café, Breakers Café and a news agency/convenience store. As stated, Mollymook Beach Waterfront again exceeded our expectations and represents outstanding value. We have again already booked for next year!” Stephen. January. 2024

“Where do I begin to describe this little gem of a place in Mollymook? I guess the best place to start would be the hosts, Ken and June. Lovely people. They were always around if needed but also respected your privacy. The unit itself was spotless. Nice furniture and amenities. Great TV in the lounge room and another smaller one in the bedroom. There is a great “starter” pack of goodies for you when you arrive. Bacon, eggs, milk, bread, and of course some wine and cheese. The view from the back patio was amazing. We awoke each morning to a spectacular sunrise. The tariffs are quite reasonable. Especially in the off season. It will definitely become our place of choice when staying in Mollymook. “For the second year running, we spent a week at the outstanding Mollymook Beach Waterfront and loved the experience there once again. We have now stayed in both the Reef Break and Whale Watch apartments, but still can’t decide which is our favourite. June and Ken are the nicest hosts, so friendly and down to earth. We can’t believe how peaceful, quiet and private each apartment is and the view was amazing as usual. We didn’t need to use our car much this stay, as everything is so close to walk to, including shops, Golf club, beach and restaurants. The starter pack is a great idea to start your holiday and everything in the apartment was 5 Star quality as i have come to expect from June and Ken. “We have been enjoying the many benefits of Mollymook Beach Waterfront for many years now. As such, I feel I am in a position to competently comment on the consistency of both the property and service provided as both are second to none. There are 2 fully self-contained apartments, each with their own entrance. Your hosts, Ken & June who live on site, can be called upon should you need any assistance during your stay. They are an invaluable resource for anything from outdoor activities to restaurant recommendations and where to find excellent retail therapy. Conversely, you need not see them at all should that be your preference. Our most recent stay was in the “Whale Watch” apartment where we were meet with superior accommodation, much attention to detail & unrivalled cleanliness. The property has absolutely everything needed for a relaxing seaside holiday. Everything is supplied including the magnificent welcome hamper with enough fresh, packaged and refrigerated supplies for the first couple of days. Free Wi Fi, Foxtel & DVDs are available should you require or simply login to your own streaming account on the smart TV (but don’t forget to logout upon departure). The guest laundry includes a dryer and complimentary washing detergent. All this is on top of the simply priceless ocean view from your private patio. Depending on your itinerary, you can leave your car (securely) parked for the entire stay as everything is within walking distance. This includes the Mollymook Beach Golf Club, The Beach Hut café, Breakers Café and a newsagency/convenience store. As previously stated, Mollymook Beach Waterfront again exceeded our expectations and represents outstanding value. But be quick. We have already booked for next year!”. Steve. January 2023
